Kane Kvasnicka is a woodworker with a penchant for the finer, long-winded things. His one-off objects are built in a wearisome labour of love, from the milling and de-nailing of recycled timber (rimu in particular) to the process of planning the timber individually then laminating each plank together to create a workable sized material.

Kane also experiments with mixed mediums such as concrete, fibreglass, and ceramic, but all objects are grounded in fragments of tree. Much of the wood that Kane uses to create the objects comes from a stock of timber that he collected over the years from helping sweep the floors on his father's building sites at a young age.
